Jakarta – The government has confirmed that it will build a soccer training center in Kalimantan. This certainty was revealed when Indonesian President Joko Widodo received Menpora Zainudin Amali and PSSI General Chair M Iriawan at the State Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday (3/8/2022).

Previously, PSSI only asked the Indonesian government for 15 hectares of land to build a soccer training center (TC). However, the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, agreed to prepare a land area of 30-50 hectares in Kalimantan.

“He (Jokowi) asked how Mr. Iwan did the plan to build the training center have a place? If you want, I will prepare the land in Kalimantan (IKN Area) as well as the construction,” said Iriawan

“Then we explained to President Jokowi that PSSI only needed about 15 hectares of land to build the training center facility. However, it turned out that the President said the government had prepared an area of 30-50 hectares,” continued Iriawan.

It’s great if you get 50 hectares of land, you can make TC like Chelsea’s..
